Forty of our Year 10 French students have had a bon voyage a Paris since Friday. They have enjoyed baguettes 🥖, visited the sites (Champs Elysée, Musée d’Orsay, Tour Eiffel etc…) & even done some shopping 🛍️ all to strengthen their language skills! ❤️🇫🇷❤️ pic.twitter.com/ft4OPYzm8a— Waldegrave School (@WaldegraveSch) May 19, 2025

Judith & Poppy, Yr 9, are national finalists of the @poetrybyheart competition. This is a huge achievement for them & for Waldegrave - over 3,500 pupils from across the country entered & only 10 finalists were selected to perform on stage at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre on 7 July pic.twitter.com/9BOAOU4Wg2— Waldegrave School (@WaldegraveSch) May 16, 2025

Yesterday our Year 7s were learning about grilling food - they did a fun experiment looking at the impact of painting some water onto their bread before grilling it to make toast. There we some great designs painted and they even got to eat their toast afterwards 😋🔥 pic.twitter.com/yVb5L0X9bd— Waldegrave School (@WaldegraveSch) May 16, 2025

More great news from @RoyalAcademyArt Sam L’s beautiful painting ‘The vase and the plant’ was chosen for the Young Artist’s Summer Exhibition. We’re so proud! Sam aimed to layer multiple viewpoints in her artwork, a technique used in cubism & in traditional Asian paintings. pic.twitter.com/hxWc8ZnBwc— Waldegrave School (@WaldegraveSch) May 13, 2025
