Instagram's latest update corrects a dangerous design decision that should never have been allowed. However, much more must be done - the platform's plans to introduce end-to-end encryption would allow offenders to target children on the site unchecked. https://t.co/pzcldEdiMh

Welcome

Our vision is to ensure you enjoy a love of learning, achieve your aspirations and are empowered to become the leaders of, and contributers to, a better society

Waldegrave Sixth Form is a comprehensive, co-educational provision for 400 students aged 16-19. We offer you a friendly, exciting, and stimulating environment for learning.

Your experience of sixth form will shape the way you engage with the world.  We aim to educate the leaders of the future and you will be encouraged to make a difference whilst you study with us.

The teaching at Waldegrave is already outstanding and in the sixth form you will be able to benefit from our teachers’ extensive experience and deep subject knowledge.  Teachers will inspire you in the specialist subjects that you have chosen, ignite your imagination, fuel your spirit of enquiry and create an atmosphere of discovery in the classroom.

Our enrichment programme will offer you the chance to mature and develop your wider skills.  You can become involved in a broad range of leadership roles within the school: widen your knowledge of the arts and cultural events; involve yourself in either competitive sports or exercise for fun; attend clubs and societies; engage in community projects and fundraising activities and build a repertoire of experiences that will give you the confidence to lead others in your future life.

Waldegrave Sixth Form will be preparing you to move on to university, college and the career of your choice.  You will be supported by a team of expert teachers and advisors who will make sure that you have all the information and experience you need to be successful in your next steps.  You will take part in a programme of university visits, interview practice and work experience to support you in making decisions about your future.
