Waldegrave Sixth Form is a comprehensive, co-educational provision for 400 students aged 16-19. We offer a friendly, exciting, and stimulating environment for learning.  

Your experience of sixth form will shape the way you engage with the world.  We aim to educate the leaders of the future and you will be encouraged to make a difference whilst you study with us.

The teaching at Waldegrave is already outstanding and in the sixth form you will be able to benefit from our teachers’ extensive experience and deep subject knowledge.  Teachers will inspire you in the specialist subjects that you have chosen, ignite your imagination, fuel your spirit of enquiry and create an atmosphere of discovery in the classroom.

We have created a series of videos which will give you more information about the application process, what a conditional offer means, help choosing your A Levels and what to expect from enrolment day.

 

 

 

 

We hope these videos will answer many of your questions but if you do have queries please email them to sixthform@waldegravesch.org.   We will prepare an FAQ sheet and communicate them to all applicants.

Open Evening

Our Open Evening 2020 was delivered virtually.  To view presentations by the Head of Sixth Form and subject specific videos please click HERE

 

Enrolment Days

Enrolment Days will take place on Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25 August.  During the Summer term we will send you an appointment time to attend in accordance with the Oversubscription Criteria.

A minimum of 20 places will be offered to external applicants.  The School aims for a year group of approximately 180-200 in Year 12 which includes internal and external applicants. 

We expect to be oversubscribed and will be implementing the Oversubscription Criteria.  Please ensure you read this carefully.

Places in the Sixth Form are not guaranteed and are not confirmed until Enrolment Day in August.  We recommend students make applications to at least two other providers and keep these open until their place is confirmed on Enrolment Day August 2021.

There are minimum entry requirements to study A Levels. These can be viewed HERE.
