Exam Results and Leavers' Destinations

Waldegrave Sixth form achieved great A Level results and we achieved an ALPS Grade 1, which places us in the top 10% of A Level providers nationally.  For a list of the universities and apprenticeships our students achieved please see the right hand column.

This has been a challenging year with the Government imposed exam and curriculum reforms placing all members of the school under considerable additional pressure. All staff have worked extremely hard to ensure students were well prepared in the face of such constant, large-scale, change. In spite of the extra challenge our students have achieved excellent grades.
There have been some outstanding achievements, notably 30 students (out of 154) achieved straight A* or A grades.  Special congratulations to Bethan Lever, Hope Teasdale and Oliver Freeman who achieved 2A*, 1A and A* in EPQ and also to Lulu Sharrad-Munden, Zippy Hodder, Zoe Russell and Holly Hafenrichter who achieved 3A*s.  Seven of our students achieved grades to take up their places at Oxbridge.
The majority of students have taken up their first place offers at university and we are so proud of every one of them.  For a comprehensive list of all the subjects and universities please download the documents from the right hand column.
