Jack Petchey Awards

We share in the vision of the Jack Petchey Foundation, that of a community where young people aspire, enjoy and achieve. The Jack Petchey Award scheme helps us celebrate the successes of individual students and fund various projects.

Jack Petchey Award

Awards at Waldegrave

One student per House is nominated each term to receive £200 to be spent within the school.

The nominated student decides how this money is spent. Students can be nominated by other students and the House Pastoral Team chooses the winner for their House.

Rambling Club

The Waldegrave Rambling Club is a great way to discover more about London and the southeast of England through days out with friends, walking, talking, exploring, picnicking and having fun. Club members choose the outings and together we plan our route, how to get there and back, places to visit along the way and any activities we may be able to fit in too. Open to all years, all you need to join is an interest in our fantastic city, fabulous countryside, and a sense of adventure. Walks will take place once a month, usually on a Sunday.
