BBC News Report 2019

Well done BBC News Team 2019.  Another incredibly busy and frantic day producing stories from scratch.  This year we look at endangered animals, dogs who can detect cancer and the success of the Instagram egg.  Great job by all the team, including the Sixth Form volunteers.  See you next year!

BBC News Report 2018

Congratulations to the Waldegrave BBC School Report team 2018 on a very polished and professional news report.  Their hard work has paid off with these insightful stories on the recent death of Stephen Hawking, knife crime in the capital and the Cape Town water crisis.  Well done to all involved.

BBC News Report 2017

Students in Years 8 and 9 have been hard at work producing news stories on a range of hot topics, ably supported by volunteers in Year 12.  This year's stories focus on Amazon Go, Brexit and how Mental Health can be affected by the Media.  We hope you enjoy watching the report and can see that all their hard work has paid off.

BBC News Report 2016

Twenty students from Years 8 and 9 took part in BBC News School Report on Thursday, 10th March. They produced their own news stories based on current events, such as Vlogging: the expanding variety of career options in the 21st century, an investigation into the health concerns around fizzy drinks, the controversy surrounding stringent uniform policies and the issue of teenage runaways. Please take a look below.

Please see the results of students' hard work on Practice Day, 9 February. They are looking forward to the real thing in March.
