If you have received an offer from the Local Authority for Year 7 for Sept 2019 entry you will receive a communication from the school in May 2019 with details of our enrolment afternoon and induction day.

Admissions to Year 7 for September 2018 & 2019
Admissions for Year 7 are managed by the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, not by the school. Offers for September 2018 will be sent out by the Local Authority.
Applications from Richmond’s residents will be made on Richmond’s Common Application Form, which will be available in paper form and online.

Admission to Sixth Form for September 2018 & 2019
The Planned Admission Number for entry into Year 12 will be 150.
Applications received after the closing date of 31 October 2018 will only be considered after all applications received by the closing date. This is unless you are able to provide proof that there were exceptional reasons that prevented you from applying on time. Late applications are co-ordinated by the School Admissions Department at Richmond Council.
A waiting list for the school will be held by the Local Authority in criteria order (regardless of when an application is received) until the end of the academic year in July 2020. After this date the school waiting lists will be disbanded and parents will have to request in writing to have their child’s name added to a waiting list for the school.
Admissions for the present Year 7 to 11 are co-ordinated by the School Admissions Department at Richmond Council. The admissions team can be contacted by telephone on 020 8547 5569 during normal office hours.
Waldegrave School Admission Appeals Timetable - Year 7 September 2018
If your child has been refused a place at your preferred secondary school, you may appeal the decision of the admissions authority. Your reasons for appealing will then be considered by an independent panel.

- Deadline for lodging secondary appeals: 20 April 2018
- Waldegrave School are using the Richmond Independent Appeals Service and appeals are scheduled to be heard between 14 May 2018 and 29 June 2018
