Jessie Goodall has been involved in trialling for Team GB Juniors rowing team after only rowing for three years.
This year she has been involved in various competitions including: The National Schools Regatta where she came 4th in the Country in the Junior under 18’s double and quad sections. This performance led her to winning the MET Regatta at Eton Dorney, then competing at the Women’s Henley, getting to the quarter final and pre-qualifying for Henley Royal.
Towards the end of term she was selected for the final of the Junior Great Britain Trials where she spent four days going through intensive seat racing to get onto the team. The result of these trials means she will now compete for England at the Home Nations in Ireland in the Junior coxed four and eight.
Jessie will continue to trial for Great Britain while studying at Waldegrave with the hope of making the under 23’s team. Her achievements have also be recognised abroad with numerous offers from America universities including a potential scholarship at UCLA.
